# Installing Duplicate Inspector for Android 1.3.1

1. Download the APK from:

2. Compare the downloaded file's SHA-256 value with the checksum published on
   that page.
3. Open the APK from your browser or file manager.
4. If Android asks, allow installation from that source temporarily.
5. Confirm that Android shows the app name "Duplicate Inspector."
6. Finish installation, then remove the temporary install-from-this-source
   permission if you no longer need it.

warning. Confirmed deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed by the app.
