Download Expense-Office-2.4.1.apk from the Expense Office page on supportamk.com. 2. Open the downloaded APK from the browser, Downloads app, or file manager. 4. If Android asks, allow "Install unknown apps" for the app that opened the APK. 5. Review Android's installation screen and select Install. 6. After installation, open Expense Office and create the work profile used in project workbooks. 7. You may turn off the temporary "Install unknown apps" permission after installation. Android may display an additional warning because this APK is installed directly rather than from Google Play. The APK is signed, and its Android v1 and v2 signature schemes were verified for this release. Updating an existing installation Version 2.4.1 uses the upgrade-compatible package com.amk.expense. An in-place update from version 2.4.0 to 2.4.1 was tested and retained the existing profile, projects, bills, and attachments. Back up important project files before any update. File and backup notes - Canonical project data is stored in Android private app storage. - If you select a visible phone folder, Expense Office maintains a separate live project copy there. - Send to Drive prepares a timestamped ZIP and opens Android's share sheet. It does not synchronize files automatically. - Files in a selected phone folder or previously exported to another app are separate copies and may need to be removed separately.
