Owner-provided status statement

Abdul Moonir Khan, trading as AMK / Support AMK, states that he owns Expense
Office and has authority to distribute the application, its name, branding,
icon, interface, screenshots, and other AMK-created materials. This is an
owner-provided declaration recorded for the Support AMK release. It is not an
independent legal verification or legal advice.

1. Scope

This licence applies to the AMK-authored portions of Expense Office for Android,
including the compiled application, its interface, documentation, and bundled
AMK artwork. Third-party software included with the application remains subject
to its own licence terms, identified in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt. Those
third-party terms are not replaced or restricted by this licence.

2. Freeware licence grant

Subject to these terms, the licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive,
non-transferable licence to:

  - download and install an unmodified official Expense Office APK;
  - use the application for personal, employment, or internal business
    record-keeping; and
  - make reasonable backup copies of the unmodified APK and of your own data.

No purchase is required. Donations are voluntary, unlock no features, content,
or services, and do not change this licence.

3. Restrictions

Except where applicable law expressly permits it, you may not:

  - sell, rent, lease, sublicense, host, republish, or redistribute the
    application, whether commercially or otherwise;
  - modify, translate, adapt, repackage, rename, or create derivative works
    from AMK-owned portions of the application;
  - distribute a modified, repackaged, renamed, or falsely signed version;
  - remove or obscure copyright, licence, attribution, or ownership notices;
  - represent yourself as AMK, Support AMK, or the application's publisher;
  - use the Expense Office name, logo, or other branding as your own; or
  - reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble AMK-authored application code.

These restrictions do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, and
they do not limit permissions granted directly by a third-party component's
own open-source licence.

4. Ownership and no source-code licence

Expense Office is proprietary freeware, not open-source software. AMK retains
all rights in AMK-authored code and materials that are not expressly granted by
this licence. Possession of the APK does not transfer ownership or grant a
licence to the application's source code, trademarks, or branding.

5. User data

You retain responsibility for the information and files you enter, attach,
generate, export, or share through Expense Office. You must have permission to
process and share that material. The application's privacy policy explains its
local storage, visible-folder, export, retention, and deletion behaviour.

6. Record-keeping disclaimer

Expense Office is an organisational tool. It does not provide accounting, tax,
legal, audit, employment, or financial advice. You are responsible for checking
amounts, categories, receipts, reports, backups, and exports against original
records and any requirements that apply to you.

7. Updates and support

AMK may provide, change, or discontinue updates or support at its discretion.
An update may be accompanied by revised terms. Continuing to use a new version
after receiving its terms constitutes acceptance of the terms supplied with
that version.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Expense Office is provided
“as is” and “as available,” without warranties or conditions of any kind,
whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability,
fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, continuous
operation, or data recovery. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty
exclusions, so those exclusions may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AMK and Support AMK will not
be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or
punitive damages, or for lost data, records, receipts, revenue, profits,
business, or opportunities arising from use of or inability to use Expense
Office. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law does not
permit to be excluded.

10. Termination

This licence ends automatically if you materially breach its terms. On
termination, stop using and delete copies of the application, subject to any
rights or retention duties that applicable law preserves. Sections concerning
ownership, third-party rights, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
