Expense Office is provided by AMK. It is an independent expense-recording app and is not affiliated with any company entered as profile data.

Data used by the app

Expense Office uses the employee name, company name, company address, project details, expense amounts, bill details, and receipt images or PDFs selected by the user. This information is used only for expense recording, Excel generation, receipt storage, backup, restore, and related app functions.

Local processing and storage

Version 2.4.1 stores canonical app records in Android private app storage and has no Internet permission. It does not upload app data automatically, connect a Google account, operate a developer server, show advertising, run analytics, or perform behavioral tracking.

The user may select a phone folder through Android's system folder picker. Expense Office then maintains a live copy of project JSON, Excel, backup, image, and PDF files in that selected folder after edits.

The user may explicitly send a complete project ZIP to Google Drive or another destination through Android's share sheet. The selected destination app handles that user-directed copy under its own terms. Expense Office does not export files in the background.

Collection and sharing

Expense Office does not sell or share personal data. AMK and the app's included software components do not collect app data. A file leaves private app storage only when the user selects a visible phone folder or starts an export or share action.

Retention and deletion

Data remains on the device until the user deletes it, clears app storage, or uninstalls the app. Deleted bills and projects remain in the in-app Recycle Bin until restored or permanently deleted. Permanent deletion and Delete All Data require confirmation.

Before project deletion, the user can choose to preserve the visible phone folder, send a complete Drive copy, or use both options. Files in the user-selected phone folder and files previously exported to another app are separate copies. They remain under the user's control and may need to be deleted separately.

Security

Local app data is protected by Android's app sandbox. Android content URIs and scoped grants are used for camera, document-provider, visible-folder, and share operations. The app does not request broad storage or camera runtime permission. Users remain responsible for their device lock and any files they export or share outside the app.

External website

The optional Donate action does not unlock app features, content, or services. It first shows an in-app explanation and then opens https://supportamk.com/ in the user's browser. The website is separate from Expense Office and is governed by its own privacy practices.

Children

Expense Office is a workplace expense tool and is not directed to children.
