Expense Office 2.4.1 Release Notes

Expense Office is a local-first Android app for recording project expenses and keeping receipt evidence with each bill.

Changes in version 2.4.1

- Reworked the optional donation prompt with a warmer explanation of how support helps testing, maintenance, and useful improvements.

Current features

- Employee, company, and company-address work profile.
- Project creation, editing, completion, Recycle Bin recovery, and guarded permanent deletion.
- Travel, Food, Stay, Purchase, Extra spendings, and Cash in Hand bill categories.
- Receipt attachments from the camera, gallery, image picker, or PDF picker.
- One automatically refreshed Excel workbook and one latest local backup ZIP per project.
- Optional live project copies in a phone folder selected through Android's system folder picker.
- Locate files actions for the selected folder.
- User-directed export of a complete timestamped project ZIP through Android's share sheet.
- Validated backup import under Settings.
- Optional donation link that opens https://supportamk.com/ in the browser after an in-app explanation.

Privacy boundary

The app itself has no Internet permission, account connection, advertising, analytics, tracking, or background cloud synchronization. Send to Drive is a manual export through Android's share sheet; the user chooses Google Drive or another receiving app.
