HISABKIT PRIVACY POLICY Effective date: 1 August 2026 HisabKit is an offline-first business billing and record-keeping application provided by AMK ("we", "us", or "our"). This policy explains how the HisabKit Android application handles information. 1. Information entered into HisabKit You may enter company details, tax identifiers, customer or supplier details, addresses, document line items, prices, tax calculations, payment and dispatch status, notes, and related business information. You may also select images for a company logo, signature, or invoice QR code. 2. Local processing and storage HisabKit processes billing and record data on your device. The live SQLite database and working files are stored in Android-protected app storage. The app does not require an account and does not transmit this business data to an AMK server. When you choose a visible records folder through Android's system folder picker, HisabKit writes backups, document PDFs, and monthly CA packages to that user-selected location. The location may be local device storage, an SD card, or a third-party storage provider made available by Android. If you select a third-party provider, that provider processes the files under its own terms and privacy policy. 3. Backups, exports, and sharing HisabKit creates timestamped local recovery backups after committed data changes. You can also create a complete export or a monthly accountant package. When you choose to share a document or package, HisabKit opens Android's system share sheet. The destination you select, such as email, messaging, or cloud storage, receives the shared file and handles it under that service's policies. AMK does not receive a copy merely because you use the share function. 4. Internet use and external websites Core billing, reporting, backup, and record keeping work offline. The Android application declares internet access so it can open external web content when you deliberately choose it, including the Support AMK donation website at https://supportamk.com/. Visiting an external site is subject to that site's privacy policy and may involve normal web-server logs or cookies. The app does not include advertising, analytics, behavioural tracking, or an AMK cloud sync service. 5. Permissions HisabKit uses Android's system photo picker when you choose an image and the system folder picker when you choose a records location. It does not request camera, microphone, precise location, contacts, or overlay access. On older Android versions, limited storage permissions may be declared by supporting libraries only for compatibility; current Android versions use system pickers. 6. Retention and deletion Records remain on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. HisabKit provides archive and restore inside the app instead of a permanent-delete command. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes the protected live database. Copies stored in a visible folder, shared with another service, or copied elsewhere are not automatically removed; delete those copies through the relevant Files or provider application. Keep independent backups because no storage method can guarantee against device loss, damage, user action, or provider failure. 7. Security Android app sandboxing protects the live database from ordinary access by other apps. User-selected folders and files shared outside HisabKit are protected according to the device, folder, and destination provider you choose. You are responsible for device access controls and for sharing sensitive business and tax information only with intended recipients. 8. Children HisabKit is a business productivity application and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. 9. Changes to this policy We may update this policy to reflect app or legal changes. The effective date will be updated when the policy changes. 10.
