INSTALLATION GUIDE

INSTALL

1. Download HisabKit-Setup-1.2.0.exe from the official HisabKit page on
   https://supportamk.com/windows/hisabkit/.
2. Verify that the file is 165,963,697 bytes and that its SHA-256 is:
   C8680CB17D5108DAC241B84811A9082AE5A55461FBBB901BABEB24A1684DB364
3. Open the installer and follow the NSIS setup screens.
4. Choose an installation location if required. Normal per-user installation
   does not require administrator access. Windows may request elevation for a
   protected custom location.
5. Start HisabKit and select a protected permanent location for its dedicated
   HisabKit Data folder.

UNSIGNED INSTALLER WARNING

The installer is not Authenticode signed. Windows may display "Unknown
publisher" or a SmartScreen warning. This warning does not prove that a file is
safe or unsafe. Download only from the official page and verify the checksum.
No antivirus result was recorded for this release.

UPDATING FROM VERSION 1.1

The version 1.2 installer is designed to upgrade the existing per-user
installation while retaining the selected HisabKit Data folder. A 1.1-to-1.2
migration was tested with existing records retained. Before updating, use the
manual backup function and copy the backup to another protected device or
service.

DATA AND BACKUPS

The selected HisabKit Data folder contains the live database, managed backups,
and preserved document revisions. A small data-location.json file under the
current user's application-data area records the selected folder path.

Uninstalling HisabKit does not automatically delete the selected data folder,
exports, or remaining application-data files. Make any legally required
backup, then remove those files manually if complete deletion is intended.

HisabKit's core billing, document, PDF, backup, and report functions work
offline. The optional Support HisabKit action opens supportamk.com in the
default browser.
