Med Alarm - Android installation guide

Install
-------
1. Open the official Med Alarm page:
   https://supportamk.com/android/med-alarm/
2. Select "Download APK".
3. When Android asks, allow "Install unknown apps" only for the browser or
   file manager you are currently using.
4. Open the downloaded Med-Alarm-v1.5.0.apk file.
5. Confirm that the app name is "Med Alarm", then choose Install.
6. Turn off "Install unknown apps" again afterward if you do not normally
   sideload applications.

First setup
-----------
- Allow notifications so reminders can appear.
- Allow exact alarms where Android provides that control.
- Allow full-screen alarm access if you want the ringing screen to appear
  over the lock screen.
- Review battery restrictions for Med Alarm on phones that delay background
  reminders.
- Create a non-critical test medicine and confirm that its alarm appears.

Privacy reminder
----------------
Full-screen alarms and public alarm notifications can display the medicine
name, dose, time, instructions, and optional photo on the lock screen. Review
Android lock-screen notification settings if this information is sensitive.

Troubleshooting delayed or missing alarms
-----------------------------------------
- Confirm notifications, exact alarms, and full-screen access are allowed.
- Remove restrictive battery settings for Med Alarm if appropriate.
- Reopen the app after Force Stop.
- Confirm the phone date, time, and time zone are correct.
- Restart the phone, open Med Alarm, and run another non-critical test.

Android and phone-manufacturer controls can still delay or suppress an alarm.
Never depend on one app as the only reminder for critical medication.
